Sifu Benjamin Sanchez has trained extensively in traditional Tai Chi Chuan for over 20 years, as well as orthodox Theravada Buddhadhamma. He is the founder of Ting Jin Healing, where his team provides radical breakthroughs in structural medicine, especially for idiopathic scoliosis and joint injuries. He teaches workshops and runs travel clinics around the world and offers intensive personalized training and retreats. He also provides training and certification in the TJH system.

Valerie Whitehawk is a storyteller, educator and student of dance and movement therapies. She weaves together culturally resonant systems of movement that heighten and train awareness, sensitivity, and whole-body unification and expression. She is a dedicated student of Ma Gui Baguazhang, Taiji Quan, and contemporary fancy shawl dancing, and remains unapologetically open to other systems of movement that offer tools and ancestral instructions for healing from historical generational trauma. As an artist and healer, her work attempts to return herself to her own body and aims to center and expand personal and collective capacity for erotic pleasure in the greater on-going cause for black and indigenous liberation. As a certified practitioner of Tai Chi Treatment & Therapy and as the operational manager of Ting Jin Healing, Valerie organizes clinics, workshops, community-building circles, and lectures on the topics of mind-body-spirit-alignment, personal transformation, metabolization of grief, transitioning harmoniously and movement and posture education to improve motion, flexibility, blood flow and overall quality of life.
